NHL linesperson Jeremy Faucher will make his National Hockey League debut tonight in Boston as the Bruins host the New York Islanders.

Faucher, wearing #97, will take the ice alongside liney Jonny Murray (#95) with referees Kelly Sutherland (#11) and Pierre Lambert (#25).

The Quebec native began his journey in stripes in 2010, working his way up through Midget AAA, Junior AAA, and University-level hockey, before joining the QMJHL in 2019. He advanced to the American Hockey League, working his first game as the Laval Rocket hosted the Manitoba Moose on February 22, 2021. He handled games in both the Q and the A through last season.

“Refereeing allows me to stay in touch with my passion, with the sport I love,” Faucher told La Voix del’Est in 2019. “I am in my place and I feel privileged.”

The 27-year-old official recently worked the 2024 IIHF World Juniors  in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Faucher, along with Shawn Oliver and Dylan Blujus, was hired prior to the start of the 2025-26 season; he’ll split time between the NHL and American Hockey League this season.

Congratulations to Jeremy Faucher on his first NHL game!
