The Ontario Hockey League has announced its officiating team for the 2025-26 season.
This year’s crew is made up of 109 officials including 43 referees and 66 linespersons.
New to the Crew
Referees Nick Isaacson and Kyle Whiteman join the OHL for 2025-26 along with ten new linespersons: Gage Argue, Owen Bennett, Evan Conrod, Brandon Flood, Chris Martenet, Josh Miller, Broidy Rondelet, Mason Snell, and Michael Whaley.
Change in Assignment
After working last season on the lines, Andre Grougrou, TJ Hunter, Derek Risebrough, Ian Rush, and Hayden Verbeek make the jump to referee for the upcoming season.
Promoted
Linesman Shawn Oliver has been hired by the NHL and will be working an AHL/NHL schedule this season.
Not Returning
Referees Jarrett Buron, Danny Emerson, Cameron Fynney, Ryan Jenken, Matt Scott, and Ben Wilson are not on the 2025-26 roster.
On the lines, Brett Heaman, Marco Lizotte, Tristan Peacock, Geoff Rutherford, and Alex Schmidt will not be back.
Upcoming Milestones
Linesman Ray King will be working his 20th OHL season. Referee Alex Ross is working his 10th.
