The American Hockey League has named the 10 on-ice officials selected to work the 2025 Calder Cup Finals between the Charlotte Checkers and the Abbotsford Canucks.

Referees

Beau Halkidis #48 (London, Ont.) – 2nd Calder Cup Finals
Graedy Hamilton #41 (Duncan, B.C.) – 1st Finals
Stephen Hiff #46 (Cambridge, Ont.) – 1st Finals
Morgan MacPhee #43 (Elmira, Ont.) – 3rd Finals
Jordan Samuels-Thomas #42 (West Hartford, Conn.) – 2nd Finals

Linespeople

Dylan Blujus #70 (Buffalo, N.Y.) – 1st Calder Cup Finals
Jeremy Faucher #85 (Cowansville, Que.) – 1st Finals
Ryan Jackson #84 (Montreal, Que.) – 3rd Finals
Anthony Lapointe #58 (Verdun, Que.) – 1st Finals
Shawn Oliver #56 (Ottawa, Ont.) – 1st Finals

All five referees are currently under NHL/AHL contracts and have worked National Hockey League games this season.  Ryan Jackson is the lone linesperson to be splitting time between the AHL and NHL.

With five referees and five linespersons selected, expect the pairings to change throughout the series. Unlike in the NHL where ref pairings largely remain intact during a playoff series, the AHL tends to rotate the officials through, so they likely won’t work with the same partner twice during the Finals.

The Calder Cup Finals get underway tonight as the Charlotte Checkers host the Abbotsford Canucks in Game 1 at Bojangles Coliseum.  Should the series go the distance, Game 7 would be slated for June 25.

  • Game 1 – Fri., June 13 – Abbotsford at Charlotte, 7 p.m.
  • Game 2 – Sun., June 15 – Abbotsford at Charlotte, 4 p.m.
  • Game 3 – Tue., June 17 – Charlotte at Abbotsford, 10 p.m.
  • Game 4 – Thu., June 19 – Charlotte at Abbotsford, 10 p.m.
  • Game 5 – Sat., June 21 – Charlotte at Abbotsford, 9 p.m.*
  • Game 6 – Mon., June 23 – Abbotsford at Charlotte, 7 p.m.*
  • Game 7 – Wed., June 25 – Abbotsford at Charlotte, 7 p.m.*

Congratulations to the AHL officials chosen to work the 2025 Calder Cup Final!
