Referees Chris Rooney and Jean Hebert are working together for the first time this postseason. Rooney worked Game 1 of this series with Graham Skilliter, while Hebert reffed Game 6 with Garrett Rank.
In Round 2, Rooney and Skilliter worked TOR/FLA Game 1 (TOR W 5-4), WSH/CAR Game 2, and WPG/DAL Game 3.
Rooney previously skated with Jon McIsaac at STL/WPG Game 2, COL/DAL Game 3, FLA/TBL Game 4 (FLA W 4-2), and EDM/LAK Game 6.
Hebert and Rank came together in Round 2 to officiate DAL/WPG Game 1, VGK/EDM Game 3, WSH/CAR Game 4, and TOR/FLA Game 6 (TOR W 2-0).
