Refs Wes McCauley and TJ Luxmore are paired up for the third time this postseason, having joined forces in the second round to work CAR/WSH Game 1 and TOR/FLA Game 3.

McCauley was paired up with Furman South in Round 1, working MIN/VGK Game 1 (VGK W 4-2), EDM/LAK Game 2 (EDM L 6-2), and TBL/FLA Game 3. He joined forces with Dan O’Rourke for COL/DAL Game 7.   McCauley also had to step in and work the lines last week at FLA/TOR after an injury to Shandor Alphonso.

Luxmore skated alongside ref Eric Furlatt in the opening round, handling NJD/CAR Game 1, FLA/TBL Game 1, LAK/EDM Game 4 (EDM W 4-3), MIN/VGK Game 5 (VGK W 3-2), and DAL/COL Game 6.

Games: PS (Preseason); RS (Regular Season); PO (Playoffs)

Stats/Numbers: ’24-25 avg. (’24-25 rank) | ’23-24 avg. (’23-24 rank)

Number in orange/parentheses indicated referee’s rank among active officials.

* Penalty Differential represents the absolute value of the variance of penalty calls by team per game. If Team A takes two more penalties (or two fewer) than Team B, this is a 2.  Lower numbers indicate less variance between total penalties in a game – that is, a closer number of calls for both teams.
