In addition to his impressive regular season total, Losier has also handled 238 playoff matches, working the Gilles-Courteau Trophy Final 18 times. The veteran official has worked seven Memorial Cups (2003, 2006, 2009, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2022). Internationally, Losier has officiated two IIHF World Championships (2007, 2009), two World Juniors (2006, 2009), the 2010 Spengler Cup, and the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Losier is the fifth QMJHL official – and second linesman – to reach the 1000-game milestone; he’s tied with Daniel Bechard for the fourth-most regular season games worked all-time, trailing only Eric Charron (1,297), Nicolas Dutil (1,220), and Marc Muylaert (1,005). His 238 playoff appearances are third all-time in the Q, behind only Nicolas Dutil (242) and Serge Carpentier (239).
The 53-year-old Greenfield Park, Quebec, native is in his 31st season with the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. He made his league debut in Victoriaville when the Tigres hosted the Verdun College Francis on October 9, 1993.
