Once again the ECHL is headed back to Traverse City!
ECHL officials will be suiting up for the annual Traverse City NHL Prospect Games. This is the 13th straight season that ECHL referees and linesmen have taken part.
Working this year’s games are referees Chazz Knoche and Rocco Stachowiak, with linesmen Kyle Gaspari and Quinn Schafer. They’ll be joined on the ice by ECHL Director of Officiating Operations Riley Yerkovich, who will also be working select games.
“The ECHL Officiating Team is honored to continue to work the NHL Traverse City Prospect Games,” Yerkovich said. “This event has long been a significant opportunity for our officials to showcase their skills and skate alongside tomorrow’s NHL stars. We are grateful to the Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings for their continued participation and support. Thank you to the teams, organizers and staff at Centre Ice Arena for making this experience possible.”
This year’s Traverse City NHL Prospect Games will feature a pair of matches between the Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings on September 14 and 15.
