Referee Frederick L’Ecuyer continues as a standby referee for the second round; he appears to be filling in for referee Wes McCauley, who – despite advancing – has not seen the ice since VGK/DAL Game 7.
L’Ecuyer was paired with Chris Lee in Round 1, working TBL/FLA Game 2, NYR/WSH Game 3, and VAN/NSH Game 4.
