Here are your NHL All-Star Officials! The National Hockey League has selected the referees and linespersons working the 2024 All-Star Game in Toronto.
Referees Frederick L’Ecuyer (#17) and Francis Charron (#6) will work the game alongside linesmen Trent Knorr (#74) and Brandon Gawryletz (#64).
This is the first All-Star appearance for each of the officials working this year’s event.
In addition to their duties in Friday’s Skills Competition and Saturday’s games, the officials will also be doing some work off the ice this weekend.
On Thursday, the NHL will host an officiating workshop designed to give amateur officials from the greater Toronto area the chance to meet and learn from NHL officials through a video session, a rules quiz and a question and answer period with the All-Star crew.
For anyone clamoring to have refs answer questions after the game, this is your chance. L’Ecuyer, Charron, Knorr, and Gawryletz will be taking part in an All-Star Officials’ Q&A hosted by Gord Stellick during Friday’s festivities at the Fan Fair.
