Over on the SDPN, Steve Dangle vented his frustrations with referee Wes McCauley after a non-call on Boston Bruins’ forward Brad Marchand after a play that injured defenseman Timothy Liljegren.
Dangle called the veteran official a “terrible ref who endangers players every time he laces up his skates” whose career has been a “1300-game infliction on the sport.”
Jesse Blake counters with the argument that McCauley is the epitome of what the NHL is looking for in a ref.
