Referee Gord Dwyer is making his Round 2 debut.

Who’s Missing?

Referees Jean Hebert, Dave Jackson, Frederick L’Ecuyer, Brad Meier, Brian Pochmara, and Justin St. Pierre are not moving on.  Of that group, only Jackson escaped the first round last year. He made it as far as the Conference Finals.

Hebert and L’Ecuyer made their playoff debuts this season alongside linesman Kiel Murchison. It’s no surprise to see them dropped from the roster after the first round as they continue to develop and gain experience.

Linesmen missing the cut are Steve Barton, David Brisebois, Scott Driscoll, Ryan Galloway, Darren Gibbs, Kiel Murchison, Tim Nowak, and Mark Shewchyk.   Driscoll is the biggest surprise to be left out of the mix; he worked the 2014 Stanley Cup Final.
