Flyers’ Rinaldo Suspended 4 Games for Hit on Sabres’ Ruhwedel

Flyers forward Zac Rinaldo has been suspended 4 games for his hit on Buffalo Sabres defenseman Chad Ruhwedel. The Philadelphia bruiser had a busy night on Sunday night. He made a rare offensive contribution by posting his second goal of the season early in the game. He also piled up three minor penalties through the first two periods.  With the Flyers leading 4-0 early in the third, Rinaldo made an unnecessarily dirty hit on Ruhwedel.  This was not his brightest play of the game. NYPD/FDNY Brawl at Charity Game

The 41st annual NYPD/FDNY Charity Hockey Game got a little ugly as both sides cleared the benches and dropped the gloves for an all-out public-service brawl this past weekend.
