NHL Officials’ Training Camp is Underway!

The NHL’s referees and linesmen are currently working hard in Collingwood, Ontario for the NHL Officials’ Training Camp.  The camp is normally a week long, and follows closely what the players will be going through with their respective teams in a few weeks. The NHL Officials Association moved their camp to the Blue Mountains in 2006. The NHLOA is in its eighth straight season training at Beaver Valley Arena. Officials Named for CCM/USA Hockey Prospects Game

The CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects game is set for September 25th at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, New York. The coaches, Mike Grier and Ed Olczyk, are ready to go. The players, 42 of the top American hockey players eligible for the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, have been named.  Now, it’s the officials’ turn.
