Referee Ian Walsh took a nasty spill behind the Vancouver Canucks’ net while officiating their game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Walsh got caught up with Vancouver’s Dale Weise as he battled with the Jets’ Jacob Trouba behind the net. As Weise and Walsh fell to the ice, Weise’s skate appeared to hit Walsh in the back.
Walsh did not return. Referee Kyle Rehman finished the game solo.
