Heat’s Chris Bosh Misses Shot, Elbows Ref

Chris Bosh of the Miami Heat was not happy. With Miami and Charlotte tied at 90 late in the fourth-quarter, Bosh failed to sink a three-point attempt. He jumped down the sideline in disgust, elbows swinging. One of those elbows caught NBA referee Leroy Richardson right in the face. Richardson went down hard. Canucks, Flames Combine for 204 PIM, Possible Suspension for Torts

The Vancouver Canucks are frustated. They were coming off three straight losses, scoring just once in those matches combined.  They’d allowed 11 goals – nine of them coming in an embarrassing loss to the Ducks.   They’ve also racked up quite a few penalty minutes, averaging 51 minutes over the past three — 60 vs. the Kings, 71 vs. the Ducks, and 20 (a quiet night) vs. the Coyotes. . Wings Tie Game on Questionable Goal; Puck in Netting

Detroit defenseman Nicklas Kronwall made an amazing play to tie the Wings game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday night.  Only, it wasn’t a legal goal — and everyone wearing stripes missed it.
