The IIHF has set its officiating lineup for 2014-15.

The referees and linesmen who will don the stripes for the various IIHF tournaments have been selected by the International Ice Hockey Federation.  Officials for all 29 events have been determined, with the exception of the 2015 IIHF World Championships. For that event, a preliminary list has been created, from which the tournament officials will be selected based on their performance throughout the year. The final selections will be made in February 2015.

Highlights:

  • A total of 373 officials representing 41 countries in the 29 IIHF events.
  • The 2015 IIHF Women’s World Championship will be the first IIHF women’s tournament to use a four-official system (two referees, two linesmen) for each game.
