Columbus Blue Jackets winger Derek MacKenzie will have a nice chat with the Department of Player Safety today after his dangerous hit on Phoenix defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
The hit took place during Thursday’s game between the Phoenix Coyotes and Columbus Blue Jackets.

Somehow, there was no penalty called on the play. Ekman-Larsson did not return.
