KHL’s SKA St. Petersburg Posts OT Win on Offside Goal

SKA St. Petersburg took a 3-0 lead in their playoff series against Severstal Cherepovets, thanks to an overtime victory on a goal that was clearly offside.  Even a second look by the officials failed to overturn Jarno Koskiranta’s game-winner.   Severstal head coach Alexander Gulyavtsev challenged the goal, claiming that the play was offside.
