Bruins’ Talbot Suspended Two Games for Late Hit

Boston Bruins forward Max Talbot has been suspended two games for what the NHL called a “late, violent hit” on New Jersey Devils forward Jiri Tlusty.  The play happened at 14:30 of the second period when the two teams met on Sunday night.  From the NHL’s Department of Player Safety: “[Talbot hits Tlusty] well after Tlusty releases the puck and well past the time he is eligible to be checked.
