The Sharks defenseman has been suspended for three games for elbowing Rangers winger Rick Nash. The incident happened just over two minutes into the first period of an eventual Sharks’ 9-2 blowout victory. Nash attempted to come back but managed just 5:33 of ice time in the game, none in the third period.

Stuart will forfeit three games of his $3.6 million salary, which amounts to $131,707.
