Refs Chris Rooney and Jean Hebert were paired up for the first time at SEA/DAL Game 7 (DAL W 2-1), continuing into the Conference Finals where they worked FLA/CAR Game 2. 

Rooney previously skated alongside fellow ref Graham Skilliter during the postseason, having combined forces at MIN/DAL Game 2 (DAL W 7-3), BOS/FLA Game 3, TOR/TBL Game 4, NYR/NJD Game 5, and SEA/COL Game 7  — along with FLA/TOR Game 2, DAL/SEA Game 3 (DAL L 2-7), and VGK/EDM Game 3 (VGK W 5-1) in the Conference Semifinals.  

Hebert worked with referee Kyle Rehman, with the duo paired up since the start of the playoff, handling LAK/EDM Game 2, COL/SEA Game 3, VGK/WPG Game 4 (VGK W 4-2), TBL/TOR Game 5, and NJD/NYR Game 6 in Round 1, as well as SEA/DAL Game 1 (DAL L 4-5 OT), NJD/CAR Game 2, VGK/EDM Game 3 (VGK W 5-1), and FLA/TOR Game 5 in the Second Round.  

Vegas is 3-0 this postseason under tonight’s refs, while Dallas is 2-2.

 

Linesmen David Brisebois and Matt MacPherson are working together for the second time in the postseason, having come together for the Conference Finals.

Brisebois previously skated alongside Bevan Mills in the Semifinals, working EDM/VGK Game 1, DAL/SEA Games 3 and 4, and FLA/TOR Game 5. He worked the opening round with Ryan Gibbons at NYI/CAR Game 1, NYR/NJD Games 2 and 3, MIN/DAL Game 4,  switching to skate alongside Jonny Murray for FLA/BOS Game 7.  

MacPherson worked Round 2 with linesman Brad Kovachik, manning the lines at FLA/TOR Game 2, VGK/EDM Games 3 and 4, and DAL/SEA Game 6. In the opening round, MacPherson skated alongside Jesse Marquis at TBL/TOR Game 1, BOS/FLA Games 3 and 4, NYI/CAR Game 5, and NJD/NYR Game 6.
