Dwyer and McIsaac have been paired up since the opening round, having handled NYI/CAR Game 1, FLA/BOS Game 2, DAL/MIN Game 3 (DAL L 1-5), and LAK/EDM Game 5. Dwyer was also paired with Wes McCauley for NYR/NJD Game 7.
This pairing continued into the Conference Semifinals, taking the ice for EDM/VGK Game 1, CAR/NJD Game 3, and TOR/FLA Game 4. This is the first time either of them have worked a Kraken playoff game.
Linesmen Brad Kovachik and Matt MacPherson are coming off back-to-back games in Edmonton, where they worked Games 3 and 4 of VGK/EDM. The two officials joined forces in Round 2, where they also handled FLA/TOR Game 2. During the opening round, Kovachik was partnered with Kyle Flemington for MIN/DAL Game 1, FLA/BOS Game 2, CAR/NYI Game 3, and LAK/EDM Game 5, while MacPherson skated alongside Jesse Marquis at TBL/TOR Game 1, BOS/FLA Games 3 and 4, NYI/CAR Game 5, and NJD/NYR Game 6.
Kovachik, who made his playoff debut in 2001, leads all active linesmen with 194 playoff appearances.
