Linesman Devin Berg was injured during Monday night’s game between the Dallas Stars and Florida Panthers.
Berg was hit by the puck on a dump-in from Stars winger Radek Faksa that appeared to hit his left hand.

The official remained on the ice in obvious discomfort until a stoppage in play for an offside moments later. He headed off for medical attention and did not return.
The remainder of the game was officiated by a three-man crew of referees Tim Peel and Kyle Rehman with Ryan Daisy riding shotgun as the lone linesman.
No further penalties were called, along with just one offside through the final 23 minutes of play. There were six icings, though, which kept Daisy moving.
There’s been no update on Berg’s injury. Here’s hoping he’s back on the ice soon.
