As the Stanley Cup Playoffs advance, teams are eliminated.  So are officials.

The National Hockey League has reduced the officials by sixteen – four referees and four linesmen in each bubble.  Here are your NHL Referees and Linesmen for the Second Round of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Three pairings made it through intact: Dwyer/Hebert, Lee/Charron, and St. Laurent/Meier; we’ll see if they continue in Round 2 together.

A handful of officials are returning to Round 2 after having missed the cut in last season’s playoffs, including referee Furlatt, Hebert, Lee, and Meier, plus linesmen Barton and Murchison.

Officials from both sites will be centralized in one location for the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final; that mix will include all officials regardless of their initial hub city assignment.

Congratulations to the NHL Referees and Linesmen selected to work the Second Round of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
