Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Michal Rozsival won’t be suspended for his hit on Minnesota Wild forward Jason Zucker during Sunday’s Stadium Series game.
The hit happened with 4:50 to play in the second period, with the Wild leading 4-0 over the Blackhawks. Rozsival was given a five-minute major for interference, along with a game misconduct, by referees Chris Lee and Steve Kozari.
Zucker had to be helped off the ice. After the game, Wild coach John Torchetti called it an ‘upper body injury’ and advised that Zucker had remained in the building, rather than having been sent to the hospital for evaluation.
