Think you can spot the best NHL officials? Now we know exactly who can. The season started with over 30. Only 20 made it to the postseason. Each round, the number gets smaller. Make your selections below and tell us which officials will make it to the Conference Finals and all the way to the Stanley Cup Final!
Hundreds of you submitted your picks for the NHL referees that will work the Conference Finals and Stanley Cup Final. Like the Stanley Cup, though, only one can win.
Logan correctly selected all of the referees working the Conference Final and Cup Final. He also had the highest score for linesmen, only missing two. He won by nailing the tiebreaker, opting for Wes McCauley and Kevin Pollock to work Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. Though he didn’t need it to win, Logan also correctly predicted the number of penalty minutes – 10 – in that game.
- Only 3% of all entries successfully predicted the four Cup Final refs.
- Refs Wes McCauley and Dan O’Halloran were the top choices. Unsurprisingly, both moved on to the Cup Final.
- Cup Final Ref vote percentages (refs selected in bold):
McCauley – 80%
O’Halloran – 77%
O’Rourke – 49%
Sutherland – 43%
Kozari – 37%
Rooney – 29%

- On the linesmen, Greg Devorski (64%) and Jay Sharrers (55%) were the top selections who missed the cut.
