The ECHL has updated its officiating lineup for the 2026-27 season.  The full crew of ECHL officials is available here.

Officiating Changes

While the ECHL hasn’t made any changes to its rulebook for the upcoming season, it has changed the way the game will be officiated – or, more accurately, by how many officials.

The ECHL is increasing the number of two-referee games this season to 75% of games. Last season, half the ECHL games were officiated by a three-official crew of one referee and two linespersons. Now, only one quarter will get a trio, with a full four-official crew working the majority of ECHL games.
