Tonight’s crew is fresh off Canadiens vs. Hurricanes Game 1.
Referee Jean Hebert previously worked alongside Furman South in the opening round, handling MIN/DAL Game 1, OTT/CAR Game 2, PHI/PIT Game 4, and MTL/TBL Game 5. He was partnered with Trevor Hanson for the second round, working ANA/VGK Game 1 (VGK W 3-1), MTL/BUF Game 2, and MIN/COL Game 4 (COL W 5-2). Hebert worked alongside Wes McCauley at MTL/BUF Game 7.
Referee Garrett Rank skated alongside Kyle Rehman together throughout the first two rounds of the playoffs. In Round 1, they officiated PHI/PIT Game 2, BUF/BOS Game 3, DAL/MIN Game 4, and VGK/UTA Game 4 (VGK W 5-4 OT). Round 2 saw them in stripes for MIN/COL Game 1 (COL W 9-6), PHI/CAR Game 3, MTL/BUF Game 3, and VGK/ANA Game 6 (VGK W 5-1).
Linespersons Scott Cherrey and Jesse Marquis worked together during the second round, including MIN/COL Game 3 and ANA/VGK Game 5. Cherrey also handled MTL/BUF Game 7 with liney Devin Berg. For the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, Cherrey skated with Kilian McNamara while Marquis was paired with Andrew Smith.
