A two-handed chop to the head from Russian minor hockey player Arseni Borisenko saw him ejected and left his opponent injured.

Borisenko delivered a hard blow with his stick to the back of opposing skater Ivan Suvorov’s helmet.

No word on the official call on the ice, but it was reported that Borisenko was ejected from the game.

Surovov was helped off the ice and did receive medical attention.

Let’s hope Surovov is able to get back on the ice soon… and that Borisenko receives a lengthy suspension – possibly an expulsion – for his actions.
