Vincent Bigras and Harrison O’Pray pick up the bands for 2022-23 after working previous QMJHL seasons as linesmen.  Both have been been manning the lines in the Q since 2019. Bigras also performed the same duties in the ECHL and AHL this past season.

Ferland officiated the 2022 Telus Cup Championship Game back in May.

O’Pray and Wood recently took part in Hockey Canada’s Officiating Program of Excellence (OPOE) Summer Camp in Calgary this past July.

From the QMJHL:

It is an important milestone for the new officials as well as for the ones promoted within the QMJHL. With that being said, family members, personnel from minor hockey branches, different regions and local associations can all take pride in their contributions to these officials’ development.

The League and its Officiating Committee would like to congratulate the officials who’ve reached this step in their careers and wish them the best for the coming seasons.

Congrats to the newest officials in the Q!

We’ll be updating the full QMJHL officiating roster shortly…
