Referees Gord Dwyer and Francis Charron are working together for the fifth time this postseason. The duo previously handled MTL/VGK Game 1 (MTL L 1-4) and Game 2 (MTL W 3-2), as well as NYI/TBL Game 5 (TBL W 8-0) and Game 7 (TBL W 1-0). Dwyer also worked NYI/TBL Game 6 (NYI W 3-2 OT) alongside Chris Lee.
Charron handled Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, taking the ice alongside ref Dan O’Rourke for the Lightning’s 5-1 win.
In Round 1, Francis Charron was paired up with ref Jon McIsaac for STL/COL Games 1 and 2, CAR/NSH Game 3, MIN/VGK Game 5, and FLA/TBL Game 6 (TBL W 4-0). Charron worked the second round with Francois St. Laurent for BOS/NYI Games 1 & 5, Wes McCauley for TBL/CAR Game 2 (TBL W 2-1), and Francois St. Laurent for COL/VGK Game 6.
