Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves won’t face further disciplinary action from the NHL’s Department of Player Safety for a dangerous hit on Minnesota’s Ryan Suter.

Reaves crosschecked the Wild defenseman into the goalpost, earning a minor penalty for interference from referees Gord Dwyer and Wes McCauley.

Minnesota scored on the resulting power play to cut the Vegas lead to 2-1.  The Wild dropped the game 6-2, ending their playoff run.

That’s all the punishment that will be handed out to Reaves, who will be in the lineup for Game 1 between the Golden Knights and Colorado Avalanche.
