The AHL has suspended Laval’s Yannick Veilleux two games for an obscene gesture.
The incident occurred late in Sunday’s game, as Veilleux returned to the bench after scoring to put the Rocket up 4-2. No penalty was called on the play for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The American Hockey League today announced that Laval Rocket forward Yannick Veilleux has been suspended for two (2) games as a consequence of using an obscene gesture in a game vs. Toronto on Mar. 14.
Veilleux will miss Laval’s games Thursday (Mar. 18) and Saturday (Mar. 20) against Stockton in Calgary.
Referees for the game were Brett Roeland (#59) and Carter Sandlak (#6). Linesmen were Jonathan Deschamps (#84) and Christopher Provost (#57).
