NHL linesman Scott Driscoll has had quite a career. He’s suited up for over 1800 regular season games along with 185 playoff appearances. The native of Seaforth, Ontario, will be hanging up his whistle at the end of the season.
Though he’s not done yet, the veteran official is starting to get some goodbyes.
Driscoll worked his final game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The Golden Knights, coming off a 3-2 win over the Caps, gave him a proper send-off with a round of post-game handshakes.
“You do a lot of reflecting,” Driscoll said a few years back, upon reaching the 1500-game mark. “I personally think about how fast it’s gone by. Obviously, there have been lots of highs and a few lows, but it’s about longevity.”
Twenty-eight seasons, and he’s not quite done yet. Enjoy the rest of your ride, Cubby!
