The American Hockey League has announced the referees and linesmen working the 2020 AHL All-Star Classic.
Referees for the event are Ryan Hersey (#8) and Furman South (#44). They’ll be joined by linesmen James Parker (#62) and Brent Tubbs (#88).
South, a native of Sewickley, PA, is currently signed to a NHL/AHL contract. He debuted in the AHL for 2016-17, making his NHL debut later that season. South, 32, has since officiated 63 NHL games. South has worked the AHL’s Calder Cup Finals in both his seasons in the league.
