The Quebec Junior Major Hockey League has announced their officials for the 2019-20 season.
New to the league this season are referees Dominic Cadieux, Samuel Loiselle, and Marc-Olivier Phaneuf, as well as linesmen Maxime Bedard, Vincent Bigras, Alex Cameron, Sam Currie, Jeremy Faucher, and Harrisson O’Pray.
Linesman Chris Ivanko has picked up the armbands, moving from linesman to referee for the upcoming season. The Halifax native has manned the lines for 82 games over the past four seasons.
Referees Eric Charron and Todd Thomander, both retired, have moved upstairs to take on the role of officiating supervisor, with Charron covering Québec and Thomander working the Maritimes.
No longer active with the league are referees Thane Arsenault, Tim Hamel, Jeff Heron, and Marc-Andre Lavoie, along with linesmen Marc-Antoine Beaulieu, Christian Boudreau, Nolan Cornish, Nicholas Dupuis, and Mackenzie Skinner.
