The Calder Cup Finals kick off Saturday, June 1. From the AHL:
The Charlotte Checkers will face off against the Chicago Wolves for the 83rd American Hockey League championship when the 2019 Calder Cup Finals get underway on Saturday evening at Bojangles’ Coliseum in Charlotte, N.C.
The Checkers, top development team of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, are seeking their first Calder Cup title. The Wolves, top development team of the NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights, won the championship in 2002 and 2008.
