The referees and linesmen are set for the 2018 Memorial Cup. This year’s crew includes two referees from the Western Hockey League (WHL), one from the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), and one from the Quebec Major Junior League (QMJHL). The linesmen include three from the WHL and one each from the OHL and QMJHL.

WHL referees in the 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup include Jeff Ingram of Langley, BC and Steve Papp of Kelowna, BC, who each received their second championship assignment. Representing the OHL in his first Mastercard Memorial Cup is Quincy Evans of St. Catharines, ON with Jonathan Alarie of Mirabel, QC, skating on behalf of the QMJHL in his second Mastercard Memorial Cup.
WHL linesmen selected to work the 2018 Mastercard Memorial Cup include Nick Bilko of Abbotsford, BC, Chad Huseby of Red Deer, AB and Tarrington Wyonzek of Regina, SK, each in their first championship. Adam Harris of Hamilton, ON will represent the OHL in his second Mastercard Memorial Cup while Sylvan Losier of St-Hubert, QC will skate in his fifth Mastercard Memorial Cup for the QMJHL.
The Memorial Cup was donated in 1919 by the Ontario Hockey Association as a memorial to those young men and women who had been given their lives in the defence of Canada during World War I. The 2018 edition of the championship in Regina marks the 100th time this prestigious trophy will be presented.
