Referee Jean Hebert was mic’d up for Game 3 between the New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Hebert explained a call to Tampa’s J.T. Miller, and later set the tone with New Jersey’s Taylor Hall.

“Talk to me any time. If we talk, don’t yell. Playoff hockey, you know how I work.”

“I haven’t yelled yet,” protested Hall.

“No, I love it,” said Hebert. “That’s why I’m letting you know. There’s respect between me and you, let’s keep it that way.”
