Allen Americans forward Bryan Moore has been suspended indefinitely after an alleged off-ice incident following his team’s loss to the Colorado Eagles on Wednesday.   Moore has also been fined an undisclosed amount.

Unconfirmed reports allege that Moore may have entered into an altercation with a fan who allegedly spit on him and attempted to grab his stick following the Eagles’ win.   The visitors’ entrance was not covered at the time.

From the ECHL:

Moore is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline as a result of his actions off of the playing surface following the game.

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.

No additional details are available at this time.

Allen is currently down 3-1 in their best-of-seven series against the Colorado Eagles.  The teams meet again on Sunday.
