Yandle received a warning for a dive against the New Jersey Devils on November 3. He embellished a trip from Devils defenseman Ben Lovejoy. Both players were penalized on the play.
The defenseman received a second citation against the Ottawa Senators on January 31. Yandle drew a slashing call against Sens defenseman Dion Phaneuf, but was not called for embellishment on the play. Yandle did slash back, though, picking up a slashing penalty of his own.

The league reviews all possible embellishment situations and may consider additional dives that were not penalized during the game.
