Referee Jozef Kubus just couldn’t get out of the way fast enough.
A shot from Czech defenseman Filip Hronek was blocked in front of the Team Canada goal. The puck caromed off the Slovakian official, landing right in the slot for an top-shelf goal by David Kase.
While Canada may want that one back, nobody wants that goal back more than the official.
Tough break for Canada. Tougher one for Kubus.
