Rookie Ref Reid Anderson: “Get In There!”

Referee Reid Anderson, just hired by the NHL, will likely make his National Hockey League debut later this season. While the league’s officiating managers my have liked his skating, judgment, positioning, and comportment, they may have also been impressed by his mic skills. NHL Referees, Linesmen Head to China

The NHL’s Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings are headed to China for a pair of preseason games.  The two clubs will meet for a pair of games — Thursday, September 21 in Shanghai and Saturday, September 23 in Beijing. They’ll be joined by a quartet of NHL officials overseeing the matches.
