WHL Rule Changes to Permit Kicked-In Goals

The Western Hockey League has some rule changes on the way for 2016-17, including one that will change the way goals are scored. The modifications were adopted at the league’s Annual General Meeting, held in Vancouver in June. Nine New Officials Join QMJHL for 2016-17

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has added nine new officials to its staff. The four referees and linesmen were promoted from Hockey Quebec’s Programme Provincial des Officiels Élites (PPOE). They’ll join the league for the 2016-17 season.
