ECHL Honors Nuckols, Mousseaux with Ryan Birmingham Memorial Award

The ECHL announced on Thursday that Camden Nuckols and Oliver “Butch” Mousseaux are the co-recipients of the 2015-16 Ryan Birmingham Memorial Award. The award honors an On-Ice Official for his contributions and dedication to the league officiating staff and is determined in voting of ECHL On-Ice Officials. It is named in honor of ECHL linesman Ryan Birmingham who tragically lost his life in an automobile accident in May 2007.   Nuckols passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 17, 2015 following a brief illness at the age of 25. NHL Officials Volunteer At Tim Horton’s Camp Day

Tim Horton’s held their annual Camp Day fundraiser on June 1, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation.  The event raised $12.6 million through the sale of coffee and Camp Day bracelets, along with donations.  Per the THCF, all funds raised will help impact the lives of 19,000 kids from low-income families by sending them to one of seven THCF camps across North America this year, and supporting them to positively change their outlook on life.
