Suspension Coming for Sharks’ Scott After Sucker-Punch

San Jose Sharks forward John Scott is clearly on the naughty list.  He’s awaiting a call from the NHL’s Department of Player safety after his unexpected attack on Anaheim Ducks defenseman Tim Jackman. Scott blindsided Jackman in the second period of Monday night’s game.  The two players collided as Ducks goaltender Frederik Andersson gloved the puck. Without warning, Scott swung his hand at Jackman’s head. The butt-end of Scott’s stick appeared to catch Jackman on the jaw.
