From Philly to Finland — It’s a short turnaround for referee Geoff Miller.  Fresh from officiating the Frozen Four National Championship Game, Miller’s on his way to Finland to work the Under-18 World Championships.

Miller is a native of West Newbury, MA.  He currently referees in the AHL, ECHL, and NCAA.  Also representing the US at the Under 18 Worlds is linesman Dana Penkivech of Apple Valley, Minnesota, who works in the USHL and NCAA.

Canada has two representatives in the tournament as well.  Referee Kendrick Nicholson and linesman Jordan Browne will also be making the trip to Finland. The full lineup of Under 18 World Championship officials:
